Speculation about the relationship status of celebrity couple Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes has intensified among netizens following Cristine’s noticeable absence from Marco’s recent birthday celebration.
The buzz began after Marco, who will turn 30 on August 18, shared a post on Instagram with the caption, “Not so Dirty Thirty,” where he reflected on reaching this milestone and expressed gratitude for the blessings in his life. “Grabe, parang kailan lang 29 palang ako, ngayon 30 yrs old na,” Marco wrote.
He continued, “I want to thank God for all the blessings that He has given me. Also, all the trials, hardships, and lessons that came in my life because that’s what made me the man I am today.”
However, it wasn’t the celebratory tone of the post that caught the attention of followers—it was the absence of Cristine Reyes, Marco’s girlfriend, from the event photos.
In response to the mounting speculation, Cristine took to her Instagram stories to share a photo of herself with Marco, captioning it, “Mahal ko yan,” seemingly dispelling the breakup rumors and reassuring fans of their relationship.
Marco and Cristine, who have been close since 2012 and worked together on various projects, including a teleserye in 2015, had kept their relationship private before going public earlier this year.
Despite the recent rumors, it appears that the couple remains together and strong.
