‘It’s Showtime’ hosts Kim Chiu and Darren Espanto were both rushed to the hospital while preparing for the highly anticipated ‘Magpasikat’ performance.
The two shared updates on social media, reassuring fans of their condition but leaving many concerned about their health as the show’s special segment approaches.
Kim Chiu posted a photo on Instagram from inside an ambulance, with the caption “Magpasikat realness,” and later shared a picture showing her giving a thumbs-up despite having an IV drip attached to her hand. She followed this up with the message, “All good,” signaling her recovery.
Similarly, Darren Espanto shared a photo of himself with a bandaged hand, explaining that he had overexerted himself during training for the show. He added, “Please continue to pray for all the hosts and the people behind ‘It’s Showtime.’ We’re doing our best for y’all!”
The exact reasons for their hospital visits were not disclosed, but both hosts assured fans they are recovering. Concerned fans flooded their posts with messages of support, hoping for their swift recovery.
‘Magpasikat’ is an annual competition where the hosts of ‘It’s Showtime’ showcase their talents, often pushing their physical limits.
