11 Mar – John Lloyd Cruz recently confirmed that he will be making his big screen comeback with a new movie co-starring Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
According to PEP, the actor shared the news recently, saying that the movie will begin filming in May after a long delay.
“It should push through this year,” he said.
As for working with Jasmine, John Lloyd stated that it was his personal choice, seeing that the character that the writers, directors and even he himself came up with resembles the said actress.

No further details have been released about the project for the time being.
It is noted that John Lloyd’s most recent project was the Lav Diaz film, “Historya ni Ha (Story of Ha)” and “Servando Magdamag”. Prior to his indefinite leave of absence from showbiz in 2017, he starred in the rom-com, “Finally Found Someone” alongside Sarah Geronimo.
