Alden Richards said he’s tired of hearing rumors about his gender identity.
In Toni Gonzaga’s recent vlog titled “What Alden Is Tired Hearing About,” Asia’s Multimedia Star mentioned that, at this point, he simply lets people believe what they want.
“Sa tingin niyo bading, fine,” Alden said.
“Ang iniisip ko nga minsan, kapag may ganu’ng mga rumors, wala na bang iba?” he added.
Alden said it’s easy for people to judge a celebrity’s gender identity, especially for men when they’re not in a relationship.
“‘Yung judgment sa gender ng mga kalalakihan sa industriya natin is ang dali because of that fact,” he said.
“But, ako, parang, pupunta ba ako sa route na ‘yun dahil gusto ko nanaman mang please?” he added.
Alden said he no longer answers rumors because he’s contended with his life.
“I’m happy, perfectly happy with what I have, what I’m able to do at the moment, I seize every opportunity, sayang eh, there’s time for that (love life),” he said.
The Kapuso star recently marked his 32nd birthday with a dapper photoshoot.
He also starred in a movie with Julia Montes titled “Five Breakups and A Romance,” as well as in a Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Family of Two” with Sharon Cuneta.
The Kapuso actor is set to have a busy 2024 as he is one of the stars of GMA’s upcoming biggest historical drama, “Pulang Araw,” alongside Sanya Lopez, Barbie Forteza, and David Licauco.
