But off the field, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end is apparently playing a game without clear-cut lines. Because … “unofficially engaged?”

Nearing the one-year anniversary of their much ballyhooed relationship, Kelce and girlfriend – should we call her his “unofficial sorta fiancée”? – Taylor Swift are reportedly still going strong. Enough, according to Life & Style, to be seriously pondering a long-term future together.

“People in the know are saying the common bet is that they’ll be engaged within six months,” an insider told the magazine, which refers to the couple as unofficially engaged. “They want it to be a non-pressured, spontaneous moment when it does happen.”

On a recent episode of the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast, Kelce raved about Swift and has spent the Summer accompanying her around the world on her tour.

“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything,” Kelce said. “That’s my girl. That’s my lady. It’s like, I’m proud of that. I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, ‘How can I keep this under wraps?’ You just don’t want to let everybody into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline.”

Of course, following the wishy-washy world of romance gossips, it was just last week that Us Weekly quoted a source saying “Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon. It’s not even on his radar.”

Kelce has three Super Bowl rings. That much is clear cut. Is he about to get his first engagement ring?
