Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has opted to stay quiet following comments made by actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista regarding an alleged rift between the two.
Days after Heart addressed the issue, Pia appeared unfazed, choosing instead to share updates from her trip to Dubai with her husband, Jeremy Jauncey.
Through Instagram Stories on October 23, Pia expressed her happiness about being back in Dubai.
“Nothing feels better than being back in Dubai with you, Jeremy Jauncey,” she captioned a photo of her husband driving, later adding, “So happy to be back home.”
Her posts made no mention of the recent controversy, instead focusing on her time abroad.
The rumored discord between the two personalities surfaced after Heart’s former glam team started working with Pia.
In a recent press conference, Heart clarified that she bears no grudge toward Pia, yet included a cryptic message in her statement: “Congratulations. You have what you needed. I wish you nothing but the best, and good luck. Sana hindi mangyari sa’yo ‘yung nangyari sa akin.”
For now, Wurtzbach has chosen not to comment on Heart’s statement, leaving fans and followers to speculate on the nature of their relationship.
