Angel Locsin begins her fitness journey

10 Jun – Amid her many charity activities, Angel Locsin revealed that she is now back to being on a diet.

The actress, who has recently started on her journey into getting back in shape, shared on a series of Instagram Stories that she finally decided to go back to dieting based on the recommendations by her nutritionist.

Showing fans her meal for lunch on her first day, Angel stated that the quantity of food seemed small because she was on an 800-calorie diet.

“According to my nutritionist, that’s what I need to achieve my goal. So bear with me and wish me good luck,” she said, later admitting that it tastes better than she expected.

Angel, however, made no mention as to why she decided to get back in shape.

It is noted that the actress had previously been body-shamed for gaining weight during the pandemic, which many believed to be an effect of her medication from a previous back injury that had forced her to withdraw from filming the “Darna” movie.
