Argentina unveils roster for men’s football tournament at Olympics
It’s confirmed, Lionel Messi will not be playing in the Olympic Games in Paris this summer. And “Dibu” Martinez , French football’s favorite enemy, will not be touring hostile territory either.
The list of 18 players selected by Olympic coach Javier Mascherano for the men’s football tournament was published on Wednesday, and neither the striker nor the goalkeeper are on it.
On the other hand, the future Lyonnais Thiago Almada (23 years old, Atlanta) is selected, like Julian Alvarez (24 years old, Manchester City) and Nicolas Otamendi (36 years old, Benfica) for the players outside the age limit.
