Cristiano Ronaldo spotted wearing different pair of trainers not from Nike for second time in a week

Cristiano Ronaldo has been seen sporting another pair of sports trainers despite being a Nike athlete.

Cristiano Ronaldo has caused a stir for the second time in a week after being spotted wearing other sports trainers while on a lifetime deal with Nike.

Ronaldo has been in partnership with Nike for more than 20 years and reportedly banks £147 million per year from the sportswear giants.

The face of their football brand, the 39-year-old has worn over 70 different pair of their boots and has access to a secret website containing all sorts of Nike products.

His lifetime deal was panned in 2016 and Ronaldo typically only wears Nike in the same way that Lionel Messi wears Adidas as part of his contract.

Fashion wise he is prone to wearing Gucci or Louis Vuitton yet when it came to sports wear, Ronaldo would be purely Nike – especially in terms of footwear.

Yet that hasn’t been the case of late for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Earlier this week, Ronaldo enjoyed a game of padel tennis with friend Miguel Paixao and did so wearing Asics trainers.

Nike do have a range of running shoes but Ronaldo went for Asics in this instance and the image quickly circulated online.

But eagle-eyed fans have noticed that he has now been spotted wearing another pair of trainers that are not associated with Nike in any way.

Ronaldo and his family have been enjoying time on holiday in Madrid, with other half Georgina Rodriguez posting a dump on Instagram.

In one video, both Ronaldo and Rodriguez perform hill sprints. Ronaldo showed off his frightening speed but the placement of the camera gave a clear view of footwear.

As per Footy Headlines, Ronaldo was wearing shoes from relatively unknown brand Feethit and believe he is in a rift of some sort with Nike and speculate about things possibly coming to an end sometime soon.

In 2022, Ronaldo’s son Cristiano Jr was hit backlash after wearing Adidas products.

A furious Ronaldo hit back and responded: “He wears what he wants. Not what you want.”
