Casemiro handed exit route
Former Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva has tipped the Gunners to sign Manchester United star Casemiro. The Brazilian endured a miserable second season at the Red Devils and his countryman believes Arsenal could help him to turn his form around.
“Casemiro could be a good fit for Arsenal, let’s wait and see what happens. It would be very interesting if Thomas Partey left the club. If that spot becomes available then it would be interesting to see Casemiro there,” Gilberto said.
“He would bring a very strong and stable option to their midfield. For me, Casemiro is still a good player. I don’t know whether he’s going to stay or not in the club, but he’s a player I would love to have on my team.”

Juventus have warned United they need to slash their demands for Jadon Sancho. The winger is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, having had a falling out with Erik ten Hag last season.
A number of teams have expressed an interest in the Englishman, but some are being put off by United’s £34m price tag. Juve are one of them as they look to rebuild their squad for new boss Thiago Motta.
And Tuttosport now report that the Serie A giants will only consider taking him on loan. They will hold out to see if any buyer does come forward and if not, make their move for a temporary deal.
Ten Hag takes Zirkzee chase into own hands
United boss Erik ten Hag has taken the chase for Joshua Zirkzee into his own hands as the move continues to drag on. The Red Devils have made Zirkzee a top target as they look to boost their options in attack.
AC Milan are also pursuing a deal for the Bologna star, though are running into difficult with his agent’s demands for a commission. The Rossoneri are ready to match the Bologna’s price tag but want to pay a lower commission fee.
That has opened the door for United, though Zirkzee is more tempted by a move within Serie A. According to Sky Sport Italia, that has prompted Ten Hag to personally call Zirkzee in an attempt to convince him to pick United instead.
