Muller shines as Bayern beat Ulm in German Cup

Ulm vs Bayern Munich Result, German Cup – A brace of goals and an assist from veteran Thomas Muller helped Bayern Munich defeat Ulm and advance to the second round of the German Cup.

In the German Cup round, Bayern Munich showed overwhelming dominance against the lower-rated opponent Ulm. 

Despite having to play away, the “Gray Tigers” still showed absolute strength in the first minutes of the match, as evidenced by veteran Thomas Muller’s double in less than 15 minutes of play.

Continuing the momentum, coach Vincent Kompany’s team did not hesitate to push up their formation to “open the party” right on their opponent’s home field, but no more goals were scored in the first 45 minutes, thereby entering the break with a 2-goal advantage.

However, Bayern Munich fans had to wait until the 79th minute to celebrate another goal with striker Kingsley Koman. Not stopping there, Thomas Muller continued to leave his mark with an assist for Harry Kane to score in the 90+3 minute, thereby helping the Allianz Arena team win 4-0 against Ulm.

Three days later, Bayern will have a friendly match with rival Grasshoppers before officially starting the 2024/2025 Bundesliga campaign with a match against Wolfsburg in round 1.
