How did ‘Forever Young’ pilot week perform in TV ratings?

GMA Network premiered its newest afternoon drama series, “Forever Young”, but how did it perform in the ratings?

According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “Forever Young” had a solid debut, joining the ranks of other GMA Afternoon Prime series with promising ratings.

On Monday, October 21, the show premiered at number 10 on the overall ratings chart and claimed the third spot among daytime programs, scoring a 7.1 rating, trailing only behind “Shining Inheritance” and “Lilet Matias.”

On Tuesday, October 22, the series maintained its number 10 position, though its rating dipped slightly to 6.8 percent. The following day, October 23, “Forever Young” saw a boost, increasing by 0.4 percent to reach 7.2 percent, holding steady at number 10 on the overall chart.

“Forever Young” effectively replaced “Abot Kamay Na Pangarap,” which ended on Saturday, October 19, though it now occupies the third slot in GMA’s Afternoon Prime lineup.

Starring award-winning child actor Euwenn Mikaell, the series follows Rambo (Euwenn), a 25-year-old man with panhypopituitarism, a rare condition that results in stunted growth due to a lack of pituitary hormones. Despite his condition, Rambo is determined to become the Mayor of Corazon, facing off against rivals Eduardo Malaque and Esmeralda Vergara.

Directed by Gil Tejada, “Forever Young” airs weekdays at 4 p.m. on GMA Network’s Afternoon Prime.
