Kapamilya actress-host Anne Curtis expressed her pride for the return of ‘It’s Showtime’s’ hit segment ‘Kalokalike,’ which made a comeback after almost a decade.

On October 8, Curtis took to Twitter to share her reaction after American rapper Snoop Dogg noticed his Filipino look-alike from the show.

Curtis proudly tweeted, “Taray! World class ang mga KALOKALIKE! @itsShowtimeNa,” highlighting her enthusiasm for the segment, which features contestants impersonating celebrities.

Before Snoop Dogg’s reaction, pop star Bruno Mars had already noticed his own ‘Kalokalike’ from the show, sharing the clip on his social media. In addition, NBA stars Stephen Curry and LeBron James’ Kalokalikes have also caught the attention of global NBA fans, further boosting the segment’s popularity.

Curtis’s tweet received an outpouring of support from fans, with many sharing her excitement. However, several viewers also inquired about when Curtis would return to the noontime show, as she has been absent from ‘It’s Showtime’ for nearly a month.

Curtis made a surprise appearance on the show on September 14 after a lengthy break, delighting viewers by participating as a contestant in ‘Kalokalike.’ She also performed Sabrina Carpenter’s hit song ‘Please, Please, Please’ and introduced herself as the ‘Kalokalike’ of her daughter, Dahlia Amélie. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting her next appearance on the show.
