AiAi delas Alas is elated over the impressive ratings of The Clash, GMA Network’s popular weekly talent competition.
The comedian and host shared her excitement on Instagram, thanking Kapuso fans for their continued support.
“Maraming salamat po Kapuso sa walang sawang suporta ❤️,” AiAi expressed in her post.
According to an art card shared on her account, The Clash premiered on September 14, 2024, with a strong 10.6% rating. It outperformed its rival show Rainbow Rumble on A2Z and TV5, which only garnered 6.0%. The ratings steadily climbed, reaching 11.2% on September 21 and peaking at 12.5% in its latest episode on October 5, where the Top 12 contestants were revealed after four rounds of intense competition.
The show began with 24 contestants, who faced each other in one-on-one battles, with the winners moving on to the next stage. A twist called ‘Circle of Clash’ was introduced, where contestants used a randomizer to select their competitors.
The Top 12 contestants who will continue their journey on ‘The Clash 2024’ are Chloe Redondo, Naya Ambi, Meleena Santos, Xandrex Arellano, Tau Castro, Angel D., Sean Karl, Vin Rimas, Alfred Bogabil, Molly Langley, Zandra Pateres, and Tiny Deluxe. The next round, Pares Kontra Pares, kicks off on October 12, where contestants will be paired in duets to compete against other pairs. However, if they fail to sit at the ‘Top of the Clash,’ they will battle it out in the ‘Matira Ang Matibay’ round.
The show continues to feature its prestigious judging panel, including Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha, Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista, and Comedy Concert Queen AiAi delas Alas. Hosting duties are carried out by Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and Total Heartthrob Rayver Cruz.
‘The Clash 2024’ airs every Saturday at 7:15 p.m. on GMA Network and streams online via the Kapuso Stream and the official YouTube and Facebook pages of the show. GTV also airs a late telecast at 9:45 p.m. The show is directed by Louie Ignacio.
