Chloe San Jose, the girlfriend of two-time Olympic gymnast Carlos Yulo, addressed the rumors labeling her as a “bad influence” on the athlete during her recent appearance on ‘Toni Talks,’ hosted by Toni Gonzaga.
When asked how she felt about the allegations, Chloe remained composed and explained that Carlos is in control of his own decisions. “It’s okay po kasi alam ko naman po ‘yung decisions po ni Caloy, sa kanya naman po nanggagaling eh. Never ko naman po siyang sinabihang, ‘Gawin mo ‘to, gawin mo ‘yan.’ Lahat naman po [ng] nangyayari sa buhay ni Caloy, it’s all him. Even ‘yung nag-Olympics siya, ‘yung na-achieve niya, it’s all him,” she shared.
Toni also raised another criticism directed at Chloe, where she was called a “famewhore” for supposedly riding on Yulo’s success. Chloe firmly denied these claims, emphasizing that she had already built her own career before meeting the national gymnast.
“Nagmu-music ako, nagco-content creation ako… Nagkataon lang nga po na si Caloy is a national athlete,” Chloe explained. She added that her primary role in Yulo’s life is to provide support, not to seek attention for herself.
Recently, Chloe was seen at Carlos Yulo’s event with Jollibee at the National Academy of Sports in Capas, Tarlac. She was observed giving her full support to Carlos while allowing him to shine on his own. Despite the large crowd and warm weather, Chloe remained friendly and approachable, taking photos with fans while maintaining a supportive distance from her partner’s spotlight.
Chloe’s actions at the event appeared to counter the accusations against her, as she continued to be a positive presence in Carlos’ life without overshadowing his achievements.
