Coco Martin and Ivana Alawi are filled with grateful hearts over the viewers’ support for “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which recently marked major milestones in the series – Ivana’s official sign off as Bubbles and record-breaking online views.
Primeting King Coco Martin said that he is extremely grateful for Ivana’s role in the series and he did not expect for viewers to love the tandem of Bubbles (Ivana) and Tanggol (Coco).
“Pamilya na ‘yung turing namin sa kanya. Hindi namin akalain na gaganda nang gaganda ‘yung kwento namin. Sobrang laki ng naiambag ni Ivana sa serye. Sana nag-enjoy siya,” said Coco in an interview with “TV Patrol.”
With the departure of Bubbles, Coco addressed one of the most asked questions from viewers as to whether or not they can expect a new character who will enter Tanggol’s life.
“Nakaka-excite kasi hindi ko pa rin alam. I’m sure macha-challenge kami sa panibagong pagsubok na haharapin namin,” he teased.
Ivana, meanwhile, shared that she will forever cherish her experience as part of the series and she credits the entire “Batang Quiapo” team for helping her give life to Bubbles.
“It’s something that I’ll treasure for a long time cause it’s the project na lumabas ako sa shell ko. I got to do a lot of things which is action, comedy, and romance. Inalagaan talaga ako ni Direk Coco Martin. It was a privilege to work with him,” said Ivana.
