Veteran actress Elizabeth Oropesa has sparked controversy online after a viral TikTok video showed her criticizing double Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo for allegedly disrespecting his mother.

In the video, Oropesa not only scolded Yulo but also called him “tanga” and lectured him on the scientific concept of fetal microchimerism, which she linked to family ties.

“Are you familiar with fetal microchimerism?

The actress then called out Yulo for his reported behavior towards his mother, saying, “Caloy, marami kang hindi alam. Hihiyain mo ‘yung mother mo, tatawagin mong magnanakaw. Tandaan mo, your cells galing sa ina mo.

Oropesa also emphasized the sacrifices mothers make during childbirth and urged Yulo to show more respect, especially when in front of his girlfriend.

Her remarks have quickly generated heated discussions on social media, with many weighing in on the importance of family values and respect for parents. Some have supported Oropesa’s sentiments, while others questioned her decision to air the issue publicly.
