Actress Maja Salvador is reportedly preparing to make her much-anticipated comeback to ABS-CBN after giving birth, according to showbiz insider Ogie Diaz.
During an episode of ‘Showbiz Update,’ Ogie hinted that Maja is gearing up to return to the network, following the trending success of James Reid during the Grand Kapamilya Homecoming event on ‘ASAP’ on October 6.
“Ito nga, may magbabalik Kapamilya na rin… Itago natin sa pangalang Maja Salvador,” Ogie revealed. He further mentioned that Maja has been actively working on her fitness and is eager to return to the entertainment scene. “Alam mo ba ngayon ah, talagang si Maja sumasayaw-sayaw na pagkapanganak. I mean, nagpapaganda na ng katawan para sa kanyang pagbabalik nga ay bonggang-bongga,” he added.
As of now, there has been no official confirmation or denial from Maja or her representatives regarding Ogie’s comments.
Maja Salvador is well-known for her roles in popular teleseryes such as ‘Ina Kapatid Anak,’ and ‘Wildflower,’ showcasing her versatility in playing a wide array of characters.
Following the closure of ABS-CBN, Maja left Star Magic and established her own talent agency, Crown Artist Management. She then ventured into projects outside of ABS-CBN, including her lead role in the TV5 series ‘Niña Niño’ (2021) and a sitcom on GMA Network titled ‘Open 24/7’ (2023).
In 2022, she made a special guest appearance in ABS-CBN’s ‘The Iron Heart,’ hinting at a possible reconciliation with the network.
