ABS-CBN’s flagship noontime show “It’s Showtime” continues to enjoy noontime leadership as it remained on top with a significant lead against rival “EAT…Bulaga.”
Based on the latest rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “It’s Showtime” sustained its strong and steady ratings trend, posting a huge gap vs. “EAT…Bulaga,” which remained struggling to keep up.
On Saturday, September 14, “It’s Showtime” registered a rating of 7.0 percent, taking the number 7 position on the overall ratings chart. “EAT…Bulaga,” on the other hand, scored 105% lower at 3.4 percent ratings, settling at the 15th spot on the leaderboard.
On the following day, Monday, September 16, the Vice Ganda-led noontime variety show even improved by 0.1 percent to 7.1 percent, although it dropped to the number 9 position on the ratings board. In contrast, “EAT…Bulaga” further declined, posting a rating of 3.3 percent, widening the rating gap to 3.8 percent, or 115% lower.
On Tuesday. September 17, “It’s Showtime” pulled away further, increasing 0.6 percent to 7.7 percent. Likewise, “EAT…Bulaga” also posted an improvement of 0.4 percent to 3.7 percent, further increasing the rating margin to 4.0.
On Wednesday, September 18, though, “It’s Showtime” experienced a minor setback as it dropped to 7.1 percent, taking the 10th spot on the leaderboard. “EAT…Bulaga,” on the other hand, sustained its rise as it improved to 3.8 percent, bringing the ratings gap down to 3.3 percent.
