ABS-CBN’s primetime revenge-serye “Lavender Fields” is cementing its place as the year’s grandest teleserye, consistently climbing the ratings and displacing several programs from their previous standings.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “Lavender Fields” has made a substantial leap in the overall ratings chart, overtaking several Kapuso shows that previously held top positions.
On Monday, September 9, the Jodi Sta. Maria-led series surged to the number 3 spot on the overall ratings chart with a 9.6% rating. This jump pushed Pulang Araw down to number 4, which registered a 9.5% rating. Meanwhile, Family Feud also slid down to fifth place with 9.0%, and “Lavender Fields”‘ rival, “Widows’ War”, dropped from fifth to eighth place with 8.6%.
The following day, Tuesday, September 10, “Lavender Fields” held onto its third-place ranking, although its rating dipped slightly to 9.0%. Similarly, “Widows’ War” also dropped by 1.2% to 7.4% but improved its standing to seventh place.
By Wednesday, September 11, “Lavender Fields” saw a strong rebound, climbing to a 10.1% rating and maintaining its number 3 position. “Widows’ War” also improved its rating to 8.5%, though it fell back to eighth place on the leaderboard.
Will this strong rating trend continue for “Lavender Fields”? Or will “Widows’ War” spoil it again and derail its strong ratings performance? We’ll see.
