At its peak concurrent viewership, the Kapamilya show bested its TV5 counterpart, by nearly twice the latter’s live concurrent viewers.
It’s Showtime has kept its unrivaled dominance in the noontime ratings game, since it moved to GMA Network, last April 6 of this year. It continues to pull off such stellar achievement, today, maintaining its significant lead versus the TVJ (Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon)-led noontime show.
While EAT Bulaga has seen positive growth in TV viewership, in the past few days, logging an impressive 4.7 people rating, last Friday, September 20 and 4.0 last Saturday, September 21. Those figures remain behind It’s Showtime’s, 7.1 and 7.0, respectively, but they notably show great improvement for the show, which has been losing the ratings game, for the past six months.
It’s worth noting that EAT Bulaga‘s pilot episode on TV5, generated a whopping 8.4 in people rating, which pretty much suggest, it’s within the show’s reach to defeat It’s Showtime, in the ratings game. That scenario is yet to take place.
It’s Showtime, meanwhile, has a recorded peak rating of 9.6, when it moved to GMA Network. Like EAT Bulaga, the show experienced a decline in viewership, logging an all-time low of 6.4 in people rating. That, however, is still ahead EAT Bulaga, which already plunged to an all-time low of 3.1.
Online, however, It’s Showtime keeps a commanding advantage versus EAT Bulaga. Yesterday, September 24, for instance, the Vice Ganda-led Kapamilya noontime show, peaked at nearly 200,000 combined concurrent live viewers from YouTube and Facebook. This is nearly twice Eat Bulaga‘s 118,800 on both platforms.n
