SB19 fans nailed it again!

The P-pop supergroup SB19 and its members’ devoted fandom called A’TIN won the 2024 Billboard Fan Army Face-Off.

This latest win followed A’TIN’s success from last year when they secured the Billboard Fan Army Face-Off title.

Organized by Billboard, the Fan Army Face-Off is an annual online polling competition to “find out whose fan base is the strongest.”

In this year’s edition, SB19 has proved once again they have the strongest fan base by winning the poll by a landslide after weeks-long voting battle with fans of various global stars, according to Billboard.

On Friday, August 23, 2024, Billboard officially announced the results. A’TIN garnered 56.3 percent of the votes, surpassing Rihanna’s Navy, which got 43.7 percent in the final round.

“It’s official: @SB19Official’s A’TIN are the winners of #BBFanArmy2024! Congratulations on being crowned the strongest fan army for the second year in a row. Way to go,” Billboard said on X (formerly Twitter).

Throughout the competition, A’TIN’s battled it out for five rounds with fan groups of sixty-four (64) artists to claim the title.

This year’s Face-Off included fan groups of international artists like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter. Fans of K-pop groups like BTS, Blackpink, TWICE, NewJeans, Seventeen, and Tomorrow X Together (TXT) were also part of the competition.

SB19 EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO A’TINS

Shortly after A’TIN’s historic win, members of SB19 composed of Pablo, Ken, Stell, Justin, and Josh posted a message for their fans.

A post from SB19’s official X account read: “A’TIN, we did it again! For the second year in a row, we’ve claimed victory in Billboard’s Fan Army Face-Off 2024! Your support proves that PPOP is more than just a genre—it’s a movement. For PPOP. For the country,”

SB19 is now tied with K-pop group Super Junior’s ELFs, which won the said award twice.

Meanwhile, the P-pop boy group is set to receive the Voices Of Asia Award at Korea’s Billboard K POWER 100 event in Seoul, South Korea on August 27, 2024.

The group comes as one of Billboard Philippines’ chosen recipients of the prestigious award, alongside P-pop girl group BINI.
