This marks the first time, the three Kapamilya royalties are starring their own shows on ABS-CBN’s primetime block.
If you think, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and Pamilya Sagrado, both winning their timeslots, in the ratings game, makes ABS-CBN’s primetime a threat to GMA, wait until Monday, September 2, the day Lavender Fields, debuts on television.
Alongside Jodi Sta. Maria and Janine Gutierrez, Jericho Rosales, topbills the series. It marks his return to ABS-CBN’s primetime block, 6 years since 2018’s Halik. Regarded as the ‘Asian Drama King’, Rosales joins Primetime King, Coco Martin, and the Ultimate Leading Man, Piolo Pascual, in raising the banne for the Kapamilya Network on primetime.
Pascual, through Pamilya Sagrado, has also notably returned to teleseryes, this year, although he did a Dreamscape-produced mini-series for Viu, with Lovi Poe, in 2022. Pamilya Sagrado puts Pascual front and center, in a story of family, politics, and power. Coco Martin, meanwhile, just continues his reign as the one and only, legitimate, primetime king, and to some, the Philipppine TV King. The enormous success of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, with gargantuan lead in the ratings game, is enough proof to its local TV supremacy, and also, Martin’s unrivaled status in local entertainment.
Watch FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, Lavender Fields, and Pamilya Sagrado, at 8:00 PM, 8:50 PM, and 9:35 PM, respective, on ABS-CBN’s primetime block on TV5, A2Z, and Kapamilya Channel, beginning September 2, Monday.
