The House of Representatives killed ABS-CBN’s franchise application in 2020.
Vice Ganda took a swipe at Filipino voters who will vote again for the House of Representative members who voted to deny ABS-CBN a fresh franchise. The said denial notably nearly crippled the once mighty network and caused the loss of thousand jobs. ABS-CBN at present, seems to be on track of full recovery, as it takes the role of being a content creation powerhouse.
During the segment, Kalokalike Face 4, yesterday, October 12, the hosts noticed the photo of Jhong Hilario, being shown on the LED screen. The episode that day, featured three contestants as Jhong Hilario Kalokalikes.
“Kelan ‘yan, Kuys Jhong?“ Kim Chiu was the first to wonder.
“Yan yung ano, mawawalan tayo ng franchise! Noong tinanggalan tayo ng franchise ng mga muli nyong ibobotong Congressman, ”. It was Vice who answered.
“Oh my gosh, kaya pag-isipang mabuti talaga, madlang people!”, said Kim.
