Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos is set to headline an upcoming film produced by Mentorque Productions and Project 8 Projects, sparking excitement among Filipino cinema fans.
The production companies shared the news on their Facebook page, unveiling a star-studded cast and teasing a highly anticipated collaboration under the direction of Dan Villegas.
The cast list includes some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Nadine Lustre, Aga Muhlach, Tirso Cruz III, Lotlot De Leon, Mylene Dizon, Gabby Padilla, Gio Alvarez, Cholo Barretto, Ketchup Eusebio, Elijah Canlas, Ron Angeles, and RK Bagatsing. With this powerhouse ensemble, the project is already generating significant buzz.
Antoinette Jadaone, who is producing the film, expressed her excitement in a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, saying she felt “starstruck” by the talent involved. “Super happy, nakaka-starstruck,” Jadaone said, hinting at the excitement behind the scenes. Known for directing successful films such as ‘Never Not Love You’ (2018), ‘Alone/Together’ (2019), and ‘That Thing Called Tadhana’ (2014), Jadaone’s involvement further heightens expectations for the film.
Although plot details and the release date are still under wraps, fans are eagerly awaiting more information about this high-profile project that promises to bring together some of the country’s finest actors in a film bound to make waves in the industry.
