Did Willie Revillame really lose his luster and charm with Pinoy TV viewers? This question arises as his newly launched pre-primetime variety game show ‘Wil To Win (WTW)’ continues to suffer from declining ratings.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, WTW has seen a steady drop in its ratings since its premiere.
WTW started with a 3.0 percent rating on its special premiere on Sunday, July 14. However, it saw a decline of 0.7 percent the next day during its official pilot on Monday, July 15, posting a rating of 2.7 percent.
The ratings erosion continued on Tuesday, July 16, with WTW scoring another 0.2 percent decrease to 2.5 percent.
On Wednesday, July 17, the Willie Revillame-led variety program further slumped by 0.5 percent to 2.0 percent. It recovered slightly on Thursday, July 18, with a 0.4 percent improvement to 2.4 percent, but dropped again at the end of its pilot week on Friday, July 19, registering a rating of 2.2 percent.
In its second week, WTW continued to suffer, reaching its lowest rating to date.
On Tuesday, July 23, WTW started with a rating of 2.3 percent, placing 25th on the overall ratings board. It then dropped by 0.3 percent to 2.0 percent on Wednesday, July 24. The ratings fell significantly to 1.6 percent on Thursday, July 25, and further decreased by 0.3 percent on Friday, July 26, registering their lowest rating to date at 1.3 percent.
