Ogie Diaz has addressed recent rumors about the future of Willie Revillame’s new game and variety show, ‘Wil To Win,’ which airs on TV5.

The speculation began after Chakapuso posted on X (formerly Twitter) suggesting that ‘Wil To Win’ might be canceled soon.

In response, Diaz took to his platform to refute these claims, providing clarification from a trusted source within the show’s production team.

According to Diaz’s source, there is no truth to the rumors of the show being pulled off the air or shortened. The source confirmed that ‘Wil To Win’ has only been on air since July 14, and the show’s run is protected by a three-year contract between Revillame and TV5.

Additionally, the show is reportedly performing well in its timeslot, standing out as one of TV5’s top performers.

Jon Montesa, a known member of ‘Wil To Win’ staff, also dismissed the rumors, stating, “Not true.”

‘Wil To Win’ marks Revillame’s return to TV5 after a hiatus of over a decade. His previous shows, including ‘Willing Willie,’ ‘Wil Time Bigtime,’ and ‘Wowowillie,’ had been major hits on the network. Despite some controversies, including on-air incidents involving Revillame, the show has garnered significant attention and viewership.

Diaz’s comments aim to dispel misinformation and reassure viewers of the show’s ongoing status. TV5 and Willie Revillame have not yet issued an official statement regarding the speculation.
