Actor and filmmaker Xian Lim has marked a significant milestone in his journey toward becoming a pilot, successfully taking his first flight in the cockpit.

Lim shared a video of his inaugural experience as the pilot on his Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into his thrilling view from above.

“First time in the pilot’s seat! Nothing compares to the thrill of taking flight and seeing the world from above. Here’s to new heights and unforgettable views,” he captioned the video, using the hashtag #firstflight.

In September, Lim announced that he was fulfilling a lifelong dream by enrolling in an aviation course, sharing that he had been captivated by the idea of flying since childhood. “There’s that certain level of respect when you meet pilots. You know, when you look up in the sky, parang [you ask yourself], how does that even work? How do they fly?” he previously said.

Aside from aviation, Lim has also expanded his horizons in the entertainment industry. This year, he directed and co-wrote the horror film ‘Kuman Thong,’ working alongside his girlfriend, Iris Lee, who produced the project.

From the screen to the skies, Lim’s fans eagerly anticipate how he will continue to push boundaries in both his acting career and his new pursuit as a pilot.
