John Estrada grilled actress Lorna Tolentino about her “secret boyfriend,” as they reflected about “wrong love” amid his own marital issues.

In an episode of his vlog uploaded on July 16, Estrada sat down with Tolentino and asked her about the state of her heart, to which the actress admitted that she is seeing someone but stopped short of identifying her new beau, and if they are already in a relationship.

“Well, I’m happy, very happy,” said the multi-awarded actress, who was previously married to the late actor Rudy Fernandez.

“Parang sinasabi niya sa atin na happy siya ngayon. Sino ba iyan?” Estrada asked.

“Yun ang hindi ko puwedeng sagutin. Gusto ko lang maging pribado sana yung buhay ko,” Tolentino responded.

Estrada continued teasing Tolentino about her “secret boyfriend,” but the actress remained firm that “she has no one” and “she’s happy being private.”

“Baka magalit sa iyo yan. Baka sabihin, ‘Ba’t idinenay mo ako?’” teased the actor. “Hindi ko kilala pa kung sino ito, pero parang nagsisinungaling siya. Nakikita ko namumula ‘yung ilong.”

Several reports earlier claimed that Tolentino is being romantically linked to her “FPJ’s Ang Batang Quiapo” co-star, Senator Lito Lapid, made more intense by their onscreen kiss. The actor politician also recently stood as one of the principal sponsors to the wedding of Tolentino’s son, Renz Fernandez.

The “blooming” romance between Tolentino and Lapid was bared by no less than the actress’ manager, Lolit Solis, who admitted having advised her to choose someone who is of the same level as Fernandez, if not higher.

Solis said she is not in favor of any relationship between the two veteran stars, recalling Lapid’s past romance with former actress Michelle Ortega, who bore him a daughter, GMA Sparkle artist Ysabel Ortega.

How to fight for one’s love

Meanwhile, Tolentino was asked by Estrada about how she fights for the one she loves. “Gusto kong matutunan galing sa isang napakatalino, napakabait at napaka-maka-Diyos na tao: Ang pag-ibig ba, kayang ipaglaban kahit mali? Puwede bang ipaglaban?”

“Kapag may mali, ipagdasal mo na sana tumama,” responded Tolentino.

“So, ang pagmamahal kahit mali, ipagdasal mo para kung anuman magiging tama siya? Ang ganda nun, ha? Kulang siguro ako sa dasal,” Estrada claimed.

The actor recently admitted to being on a marital break with

Meanwhile, Estrada has recently set the record straight on the status of his marriage with Priscilla Meirelles, saying they “mutually agreed” to take a break from their marriage, while denying any romantic involvement with another woman.

However, Meirelles denied having a “mutual agreement” with the actor, saying she’s “shocked” that her husband made such a statement on social media because, as far as she knows, they were still married when she left the Philippines and continued to be married in the eyes of the law.

Estrada and Meirelles’ made headlines lately after the former beauty queen threw a remark on the actor’s Instagram post, where she said that he “looks very divorced” while accusing him of being with a woman named Lily Hallman in Boracay, after videos of the actor partying went viral on social media.
