Actor John Lloyd Cruz recently confirmed his romantic involvement with artist-illustrator Isabel Santos in an interview conducted by veteran entertainment TV host Boy Abunda.

Cruz openly acknowledged their relationship, responding to Abunda’s inquiry about Santos’s place in his life by saying, “Si Isabel ay girlfriend ko, oo or boyfriend niya ako.”

Cruz expounded on the nature of their connection, describing themselves as low-profile individuals who don’t have remarkable stories to share. He mentioned their shared connection to the art world, highlighting that Isabel’s family runs a gallery.

After his break from ABS-CBN, this was the first gallery he explored. Cruz emphasized the length of their acquaintance and how she has gradually become a significant presence in his life.

During the interview, Cruz underscored his belief in the institution of marriage, with Santos playing a pivotal role in this aspect of his life.

“Siyempre ‘yung consideration lagi for the two of us, especially para sa kanya, laging nandoon,” he elucidated.
