Good news, K-Drama fans: Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook will be starring in a new romance series!

South Korean TV channel tvN confirmed on Friday, July 12 that the two actors will team up for the upcoming drama dubbed Black Salt Dragon (also known as He’s the Black Dragon). It’s set to air in early 2025, as reported by K-entertainment outlet Soompi.

The new offering follows the love story of a man and woman who met via an online game when they were students. They are set to reunite 16 years later in real life as a boss and an employee.

Ga Young will play Baek Soo Jung, who is described as a “hard-working and talented employee who is exceptional at her job.” She also stands up for herself and fights when needed, making her a “source of headache” for her superior, whom she first met through an online game that “left her with the most embarrassing memory of her life.”

Hyun Wook will portray Ban Joo Yeon, the director of the strategic planning division at Yongsung Department Store Armed, and the youngest and only heir to his family’s conglomerate. He holds a “painful memory” of getting rejected after confessing to his first love that he met via an online game.

Further details, including other cast members and the exact release date, have yet to be announced.

Ga Young is known for her roles in hit dramas including True Beauty, Find Me in Your Memory, Link: Eat, Love, Kill, and The Interest of Love, among others.

Hyun Wook, meanwhile, became famous for his roles in series such as Twinkling Watermelon, Racket Boys, Weak Hero Class 1, Twenty-Five Twenty-One, and D.P. which starred Jung Hae In.
