James Reid and Liza Soberano were recently spotted together at an event launch in BGC, fueling curiosity about the ongoing rumors regarding Liza’s association with Careless.
The talent management company is presided over by James Reid, who also founded it.
On his Instagram, James uploaded a series of photos from the Gentle Monster event launch that took place on Monday, October 16. Among these photos was a snapshot of Liza.
This particular photo has given rise to questions regarding the veracity of the rumors concerning Liza’s status with Careless.
During an episode of the showbiz online program ‘Marites University,’ DJ JhaiHo suggested, citing insider information, that Liza’s aunt is currently managing her affairs.
It is worth recalling that back in June 2022, Liza took her fans by surprise by inking a managing contract with Careless Music, the talent management agency established by James Reid. Under this agency’s management, Liza commenced her journey toward achieving her Hollywood aspirations. She made a guest appearance on a South Korean TV show titled ‘Not Hocance But Scance’ and secured endorsements from a local digital bank and other brand collaborations.
Recently, she launched her online travel show, ‘Liza in Korea,’ which was produced in collaboration with a South Korean production company. Liza explained that she’s currently dedicating her time to this project, especially in light of the Hollywood writers’ strikes, which have temporarily delayed her pursuit of her Hollywood dreams.
Nonetheless, her debut Hollywood project, a horror-comedy film entitled ‘Lisa Frankenstein,’ is set for release in the coming year.
As of now, there has been no official statement from Liza, James, or Careless regarding the speculated developments pertaining to her association with the talent management firm.
