Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo has publicly addressed the ongoing dispute with his mother, Angelica Yulo, in a recent TikTok video.
The controversy erupted amidst his success at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he secured two gold medals in men’s gymnastics.
In the video, Carlos confirmed that the financial disagreement with his mother centers around incentives he earned from the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
According to Carlos, his mother received these funds without his knowledge or consent.
He added, “After nu’n, mga bandang December, umuwi ako sa Pilipinas.
Carlos revealed that he never actually received the incentives himself.
Carlos also addressed concerns about his bank accounts, which he claims were managed by his mother.
As of now, Angelica Yulo has not yet provided a public response to her son’s statements. The Dailypedia is open to publishing any official statements from Angelica regarding this matter.
