Sexy star Nico Locco has confirmed that he and actress Christine Bermas have ended their relationship for good.

In a recent interview held in Quezon City, Locco revealed that the breakup is final, and both have chosen to move on with their lives.

“I am happy now. Final na po. I don’t want to add many comments here. Pag private life, private life,” Locco said, emphasizing his desire to keep the details of their separation private.

The couple, who had previously tried to reconcile, is no longer in contact. Locco admitted that while he still has feelings for Bermas, moving on was necessary. “We are not talking and we won’t be talking anytime soon. [I miss her] When you love somebody, hindi mawawala yan. But kailangan mo mag-decide in life what is best for you as a person, for your heart,” he shared.

Locco and Bermas had publicly discussed their relationship issues earlier this year when they appeared on It’s Showtime’s “EXpecially For You” segment in June. At the time, Bermas cited cheating as the reason for their breakup. Despite efforts to resolve their differences, the pair ultimately decided to go their separate ways.

Although Locco chose not to address whether infidelity played a role in their recent split, he made a subtle reference to the matter, saying, “Privacy niya I’ll let her have it…Wala ako comment [Third Party]. Nakikita ko na image sa mind ko is wolf in sheep’s clothing… Not everybody is who they are as it seems.”

The actor reflected on his approach to the breakup, emphasizing the importance of respect and privacy. “Kasi lalaki ako. Where I come from, how I live, I just take it in the chest. I do not talk about my problems or other people’s problems. It is my respect. Ano problem nila or niya na lang, I hope maging OK siya. I wish her the best sana maging better person siya,” Locco added.

Locco also shared the lessons he learned from the relationship, highlighting the importance of accountability and being careful when choosing a partner. “In every relationship may lesson. We can judge somebody for the decisions and mistakes they make but in a relationship there are two people. Everybody makes mistakes, not just the guy or the woman. The fact we own up to it and try to do better for our partner, yan pinaka importante.”

He added that moving forward, he plans to date women outside the entertainment industry, noting that it may help avoid some of the complications that come with public relationships. “Hindi na showbiz. If ever, process yan. I will make sure bahay sa ‘kin. Ayoko mag-rush. But someone outside is better. Ang dami drama sa showbiz eh,” he said.
